# SDK and API

The Global‑e API enables developers to connect their systems with Global‑e's infrastructure, facilitating various e-commerce functionalities.

The API allows you to access and manage Global‑e's features, such as currency conversion, localized pricing, international shipping options, tax calculation, and duty estimation. It also provides tools for managing orders, tracking shipments, and handling returns and refunds.

The Global‑e SDK, on the other hand, is a set of software development tools, libraries, and documentation that assists developers in integrating Global‑e's services into their applications more easily. The SDK typically includes pre-built functions and modules that abstract away the underlying complexities of the API integration, simplifying the development process.

By leveraging the Global‑e API and SDK, retailers can expand their e-commerce reach to international markets, offering localized shopping experiences, streamlined shipping and logistics, and transparent pricing and taxation for customers around the world.
